Breakwater

The Breakwater wasn't designed to be the cheapest board in the shop — it was designed to be the best first board in the shop, and the fact that it's affordable is a bonus. We started with a thick stringer and epoxy construction so it can take a beating, added enough volume to make paddle-outs manageable, and gave it a tri-fin setup that tracks straight for beginners but turns when your technique improves. The rounded square tail is forgiving in chop and holds in clean waves.
