Start Here

Our Start Here lesson is designed for people who've never stood up on a surfboard — or who tried once and spent most of the time falling. We keep groups to six students maximum, so you get real attention, not just a whistle and a wave. We'll start on the beach with the basics: how to position yourself on the board, how to paddle, and how to pop up. Then we'll head into the whitewater where the waves are manageable and the consequences are minimal. By the end of two hours, most students are standing up and riding to the beach.
